Snow Conditions Update – 12/6/2012

The last little system is blowing out and Mammoth Mountain stands stacked with snow! The skiing is amazing, and Friday December 7th (will prove that we have not only the best conditions in the nation but also the most snow in the nation) when Mammoth opens 100% of the mountain. That last big system dumped 4-6′ of wet heavy snow on the mountain. What does that mean? The top holds nothing but windbuff snow from Dave’s over to the Noids!
So peel yourself from your daily routine and break out those new skis and let us do the rest to make the best experience you’ve had on snow this season!

On Hill Tips-

Groomers - Solitude off of 5 ( Before 11:30am you’ll have it to yourself)
Off Piste - Dave’s to Dry Creek down to chair 2 is a long run chalked full
of windbuff snow.
Hike up to chair 22 from chair 10, the AVY chutes are worth the short hike.

Stay posted as we will keep you updated on changing snow conditions, more photos and videos!
Now go get your shred on and remember your sunscreen!
