We have the rental gear you need for all your fishing needs. Fly or Spin.
Whether you are just starting out, or forgot you gear, our rental department will get you on the trail. We have upgraded the fleet this year with new packs and bags from Vaude. Last year we put in new tents from The North Face, new kid carriers from Kelty, and trekking poles from Leki.
Here is a quick rundown on our backpacking rental gear:
Our sleeping bags are the new Vaude Sioux 800. It is a 20 degree synthetic mummy bag that comes with a nice compression sack for easy stuffy and compact loads.
The new Vaude Accept 55+10 backpacks are fully fit adjustable, and can handle 65 lbs comfortably. They have a lid pocket, two outer mesh pockets, two integrated outside pockets, a sleeping bag compartment, and a opening for your hydration system. Vaude’s patented Tergolight Easy Adjust allows you to adjust the torso length on the fly, and get a perfect fit. The Twist to Fit hip belt is great for dialing the pack to rest on your hip bones (iliac crest), and stay there. The Accept weighs 5.7 lbs.
We also have Kelty Tioga 5500, Yukon 3000, and Tioga Jr. 2050 external frame packs. These are great for oversize/awkward loads, and on trail hiking. If you are a parent carrying part of your child’s load, this is the way to go. These are also a good choice for use with rectangular camping sleeping bags and pads that may have to be lashed to the outside of the pack. These packs are all easily adjusted to correct torso length, and feature lots of external pockets.
Our Rock 22 tents from The North Face are a freestanding 2 person, two door design. The Rock weighs about 6 lbs, and features lots of body mesh, and a full rain fly. Their 2 pole external clip design makes setting up camp a breeze, while the dual doors make for easy entry and exit without disturbing your tent mate.
Our Kelty FC 1.0 child carriers are easy adjusted to either parent, and can carry up to 50 lbs.
